Star Camp, A Sci-fi Acting Camp

MPA and the galaxy is in a period of peace protected by the jedi actors  and our crew.  Help keep space from the threat of the empire by joining  our STAR CAMP this spring break. Space is the final frontier.  These are  the voyages of the MPA spring break camp.  It’s continuing mission: To  seek out strange new stories, explore new acting games, and to boldly go  where no actor has gone before.  Join your crew and work together to  create a short play, learn the Jedi code, create your own lightsaber,  galaxy and so much more.

3-Week Musical Theater Intensive

7/6-7/26

Four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. So when  they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know  that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue…and themselves. The  town’s parents want to keep the high school dance on the straight and  narrow—but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom,  the entire town has a date with destiny. On a mission to transform  lives, Broadway’s brassiest join forces with a courageous girl and the  town’s citizens and the result is love that brings them all together.

Wizard Acting Camp - Morning Week 1

8/3-8/7

Camp is in session at the MPA Summer Camp of Wizards and Magic! Take a quiz to find out your magical house and explore the world of acting by creating scenes inspired by magical universes. The week will surely leave students enchanted with the performing arts.  Camp includes theater games, acting exercises, magic-themed crafts, and quadball! Students will write a scene during camp, and family members are invited to a performance on the last day of camp at 3:00 pm. Don’t miss this enchanting opportunity to experience the magic of theater!

Wizard Acting Camp - Morning Week 2

2-Week Musical Theater Intensive

6/15-6/27

The  Saturday morning educational cartoon series is now the basis for  Schoolhouse Rock Live! JR. A loose, revue-like musical which follows  Tom, a young school teacher, who is nervous about his first day of  teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV, when various characters  representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him  how to win his students over with imagination and music. Memorable songs  such as "Just a Bill," "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly" and "Conjunction Junction"  bring his lesson plans vividly to life.

Wizard Magic School LARP

8/3-8/14

Join the special few that receive an acceptance letter to our Magical School of Philosophy and Academics. Live out your fantasy of being in magic school. (It’s kind of like being in your own movie, only you are the main character in your own story.) Be sorted into one of four dorms based on magical Tarot and elements. Study ancient runes, potions, elemental magic, magical creatures, transfiguration, magic defence, divination, and more! Attend the opening feast (the first night of camp) and Celebration Ball (last night of camp). Join clubs like the Chess club, Dead Club with our very own Poltergeist, or Debate. Play magical sports like quad ball. Engage in discussions, study, socialize, stir up shenanigans or stay out of trouble. Make a difference in the story’s outcome with the decisions you make! Solve puzzles, join combat scenes and experience magic like you never have before. Every day is a new adventure at wizarding school. Returning students will experience a totally new curriculum with their grade. New Students will be sorted into their dorm group but join the grade level closest to their age group. This camp builds students improvisation skills, teamwork, character development, problem solving, and creativity. Enroll today to explore this live action role play magical world.

Gods and Monsters Acting Camp - Afternoon Week 2

8/10-8/14

Do you love the world of Percy Jackson?  Do you like Myths and Greek  monsters and gods?  Back by popular demand, join us this winter break at  GODS and MONSTERS, A PERCY JACKSON THEMED ACTING CAMP.  Come to Camp  Half Blood and meet your cabin mates.  Through acting games, lessons and  exercises campers will find out their godly parent, work with their  cabin on a performance based on Percy Jackson stories, play nerf capture  the flag and write their own verse to the campfire song.  Save the  world, battle monsters, and hang out with all your demigod friends!!     This winter break camp is sure to be an Awesome, dangerous and scary,  Thrilling, Monstrous and Hairy, Killer, Hero’s Quest!!
