Scholarship Application Process
MPA is a volunteer run organization, and we need your help! Our scholarships provide a discount to full tuition and ask for a commensurate commitment from the families or students. Volunteer hours will be applied toward tuition at the rate of $30 per volunteer hour, for up to 80% of the total class fee. Scholarship students are expected to pay at least 20% of the class fee (either directly or funded through external grants).
Please be aware of the following:
A new application must be completed each session. It should not be assumed that the scholarship will continue from one session to the next.
90% attendance is mandatory for all scholarship recipients. Students are committed to their program, class, or performance by fully showing up, being prepared and spending time to practice outside of class. Students and/or family members of scholarship recipients are expected to volunteer at MPA and respectfully fulfill scholarship requirements. Failure to attend classes, rehearsals and to log volunteer hours will disqualify recipients from future scholarship funds. Families do not need to qualify for free or reduced lunch to be eligible for assistance.
Applications for Season 16 Summer & Season 17 Scholarships are now open
