Off-Broadway

AGES

11-14

This performance program for pre-teens strengthens voice skills like two and three-part harmonies & rhythms, vocal support, and projection. Learn the lingo of the stage to sound like a pro while building stage awareness. Shine on stage with dance choreography while learning to stay in character. Pull all the pieces together into a musical production at the end of each term for family and friends. Experience is required through either previous performance or acting classes. Class requirement is to also be enrolled in an additional acting, dance or music class. The class cost will be at a discounted rate and included in the fees for Off-Broadway. This new program is for our 11 to 14 year olds interested in performing. A full show, twice a year written by our own Will Johnson. This performance class is three hours long and is an advanced version of the Broadway Jr. program. Actors will experience how a production runs with Costumes, Lights, Sound, Props and more. We recommend that students who have not been in shows take this performance class before joining Mainstage. Students may also find this class as a great way to gain experience.
