EDUCATION FAQ

For students first experiencing the performing arts as young as three to adults rediscovering the theatre or fulfilling a lifelong wish, our classes build performance-level skills both on and behind the stage.

WHAT PRIVATE LESSONS ARE OFFERED?

Private lessons are available for voice, piano, acting, guitar, and more! To learn more about the availability of private lessons, contact the teacher you are interested in working with, or check our website for more information.

WHEN IS TUITION DUE?

A minimum payment of $25 is due at the time of registration. Payment Plans are available for the remaining balance, which will be divided equally based on the number of payment dates until the conclusion of the term or session. Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and may be paid by auto payment, check, or credit card. You can choose to enroll in each term or the full school year. There are 4 terms per school year. We offer classes and camps during school breaks, as well as Summer Session. Drop-Ins are available for non-performance classes.

CAN I JOIN A CLASS MIDTERM?

Most classes are open to enrollment at anytime. Tuition is prorated after enrollment by contacting our Business Manager. Performance Programs are not open to enrollment midterm.

WHAT TYPE OF EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED?

High level performance programs require either performance or acting class experience. Performance experience could include gymnastics, dance, or a similar type of program. Advanced or intermediate classes require experience in beginning classes or approval from the teacher to enroll. In some exceptions, students may be a better fit for a different age group. Talk to our program directors or teachers before enrolling in a level outside your age range.

CAN I JOIN A WAITLIST FOR FULL CLASSES?

Waitlists are available for all classes and performance programs once we have reached capacity. We will contact you if space becomes available for you to join the class.

CAN I TRANSFER BETWEEN CLASSES?

Technique classes may be added, changed, or dropped prior to the first week. We are unable to refund classes mid-month. Transferring between classes is allowed, based on availability.

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?

$25 is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable. Registration and show fees are non-refundable. Withdrawals up to 2 weeks before the start of the program: Tuition will be returned in the same manner paid. Withdrawals within 2 weeks before the start of the class will result in a credit in the students’ registration account that is valid for future classes or camps. If the program or class is cancelled by MPA, we will transfer the student into a similar program or class. If there is no similar program or class available, the amounts paid will be held on the student’s account as credit for future camps or classes.
