Little Shop of Horrors

October 10 - 26, 2025

A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical. The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!


The Day the Crayons Quit

November 8, 2025

In this delightful story, the kids will take on the role of crayons who have been overworked and used for too long! Each one will be their own special color and get to explore what happens when crayons retire. Will they work together to draw something amazing, or go solo for some monochrome coloring? You’ll have to sign up to see!


Junie B.'s Essential Survival Guide to School

November 22 & 23, 2025

A self-appointed expert on all things first grade, Junie B. is determined to write the ultimate guide - Junie B.'s Essential Survival Guide to School. As she deals with writer's block and constantly getting into trouble, Junie B. quickly realizes that she still has a lot to learn. Junie B.'s Essential Survival Guide to School is a hilarious, whole-hearted show about owning up to your mistakes and how nobody is ever done learning.


Pippin 2013 Broadway Revival

December 5 - 20, 2025

This updated circus-inspired version of Pippin is the story of one young man's journey to be extraordinary. Heir to the Frankish throne, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh and the intrigues of political power (after disposing of his father, King Charlemagne the Great). In the end, though, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the unextraordinary moments that happen every day.


Frankenstein A Musical Adaptation

December 13, 2025

Welcome to our new Off-Broadway class for ages 11-14 yrs old. This classic is retold by our in-house playwright, William Johnson. Wit, monsters, music and more in the story based on the book by Mary Shelley.


The Ugly Duckling

March 14, 2026

For our winter session, the minis will take on this delightful classic! We’ll explore transformation, feeling like an outcast, and the importance of being kind to each other. Featuring ducks, swans, and many more pond dwelling creatures, this will be a great opportunity for our little actors to work on physical characters.


The Princess and the Goblin King

March 21 & 22, 2026

Written by our own in-house playwright, William Johnson, this play is brand new but the story is based on the book The Princess and the Goblin, a children's fantasy novel by George MacDonald.


Treasure Island; A Musical Adaptation

April 18, 2026

Welcome to performances by our new Off-Broadway class ages 11-14 yrs old. This classic is retold by our in-house playwright, William Johnson. Wit, pirates, treasure hunting, music and more in the story based on the book by Robert Louis Stevenson.


Footloose

May 8 - 24, 2026

When Ren and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town, he is prepared for the inevitable adjustment period at his new high school. But he’s not prepared for the rigorous local edicts, including a ban on dancing instituted by the local preacher, who is determined to exercise control over the town’s youth. When the reverend’s rebellious daughter sets her sights on Ren, her roughneck boyfriend tries to sabotage Ren’s reputation. The heartfelt story that emerges pins a father longing for the son he lost against a young man aching for the father who walked out on him. Footloose celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people while guiding them with a warm heart and open mind.


The Very Hungry Caterpillar

May 30, 2026

Our last story of the year will be The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The kids will get a chance to play a variety of different bugs and experience a story all about metamorphosis. Our kids will change into butterflies just in time for spring :) It is free fun to watch these 3-6yr olds sing, dance and act their way through an amazingly fun script written for them by our very own Lily Foster.


Beauty and the Beast

June 6 & 7, 2026

A new musical written by MPA’s own Erik Montague. This is fun for the whole family! Based on the beloved characters we know from the book, movie, and musical. It's a tale as old as time with a retelling that all are sure to love.


Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr.

June 26 & 27, 2026

The Saturday morning educational cartoon series is now the basis for Schoolhouse Rock Live! JR. A loose, revue-like musical which follows Tom, a young school teacher, who is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV, when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music. Memorable songs such as "Just a Bill," "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly" and "Conjunction Junction" bring his lesson plans vividly to life.

As You Like It

June 27 - July 19, 2026

As You Like It is a pastoral comedy by William Shakespeare. We follow Heroine Rosalind who escapes persecution from her uncle's court. She finds safety, love, and more in the Forest of Arden. One of the characters she meets, Jaques the traveler, provides one of Shakespeare's most famous lines, "All the world's a stage".


The Prom

July 24 - 26, 2026

Four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. So when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue…and themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the high school dance on the straight and narrow—but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. On a mission to transform lives, Broadway’s brassiest join forces with a courageous girl and the town’s citizens and the result is love that brings them all together.
